DEMOCRAT POLITICIAN'S UPSIDE DOWN PRIORITIES? - 09-06-02 Los Angeles Below is a picture of three Democrat politicians begging for votes at some union convention. Nothing wrong with that. But look at the podium's message. Haven't they got their priorities out of order? You decide.

| "I
DON'T GIVE A SHIT..." SAYS THE PRESIDENT, AS HE AGREES WITH NATIONAL
SPECTRUM - 09-01-02 Los Angeles: We now know the President reads
and agrees with National Spectrum's recent column The Europeans. The London
Spectator reports the following in its current edition: "... one British visitor was chatting to CIA Director George Tenet about the European's role (as to Iraq). `I'll tell you exactly what the President said the other day on that very subject,' said Mr. Tenet. `He said, "I don't give a shit what the Europeans think." (The U.K. is not considered `European' in the President's geography book.) Bet Colin's colon
got all sphinctered up on hearing that one. Remember that dinner party
in London where the wife of a famous `diplomat' referred to Israel as
"... that shitty little country"? Wonder what she/they think
now that the President has essentially said what we all know to be true
about the Euro countries. It's only America's faux elites who wring their
uncalloused hands over what their counterparts in Stockhlom, Madrid or
Antwerp think. |
| FORGIVE
ME PLEASE; I’VE BEEN A BAD LITTLE BOY - 08-31-02 Los Angeles:
John Lindh, Marin County’s Benedict Arnold, is now singing his heart
out to the feds. So much for the swaggering traitor who, having first betrayed
America, is now betraying his al Quaeda buddies. What he really wants is
to build a mercy case for early release, parole and a cushy federal prison
farm, like Lompoc in California, where it’s rather like a Bad Boys
Club. (Lompoc is where John Watergate Erlichman and Michael Milken attended
the federal felons university, colloquially known as FU.) How
about this: let Lindh make his case directly to us, the people. Dress
him up in his al Quaeda uniform, let his beard grow back and take him
to Ground Zero. There, let him ask for “mercy” to the assembled
families of the Twin Towers victims. After that, he walks, under Marine
guard, to the Pentagon via the Pennsylvania crash site, pleading his case
to Americans who have gathered along his route to hear his pleas. From
D.C., he continues his walk across America to Berkely where he makes one
more oration. Berkeley loves traitors; it’s their natural lair.
Then we lock his sorry ass in a non-air-conditioned Marine brig cell in
Barstow, California. Every 20 years or so, we trot him out to deny parole.
All Americans could then pray that he lives a long, long life in federal
prison and that the son-of-a-bitch never sees the sun, stars or sky again.
Ever. |

MISREPRESENTATIONS - APPLES vs. ORANGES - 08-30 02 Los Angeles:
A recent New York Times story, picked up by the national media, blared that
a "study" by the Justice Policy Institute found things:
1. the number of black men in state prisons quintupled in the last 20 years; and 2. there are more blacks in prison than in college. Awful, isn't it? Well, not really because: 1. the number of all Americans in prison quadrupled during that same 20 year period; and 2. generally,
collegians are usually between 21 to 25; |
| THE GATEKEEPER - 08-30 02 Los Angeles: Everyone loves the His-tory Channel; who could be against history? But, of course, what history is shown greatly influences what history is known. Carl Lindahl is the guy who decides all that. When offered a documentary on the Vietnam War with an introduction by retired general Norman Schwartzkopf, Lindahl huffed: "We're not going to air anything with that right-wing General Schwartzkopf." There's probably little truth to the rumor that he stamped his foot as he spoke. |
| THE DRAFT-DODGER
IS STILL LYING - 08-02 02 Los Angeles: William Jefferson Clinton
is still lying. Addressing an Hadassah fund-raiser in Toronto, he said:
"If Iraq came across the Jordan River, I would grab a rifle and get in the trench and fight and die." Do you believe that? If so, why? |
| MEDIA BIAS - 07-26-02 Los Angeles: Helen Thomas, the ancient ding-bat, writes that President Bush risks losing support from women because he has withdrawn approval of an international women's rights treaty. She goes on to say that the treaty, signed by that another dingbat, Jimmy Carter the nut farmer from Noplace Georgia, has languished in the Senate since 1980 - 20 years! (Treaties must be approved by the Senate: advise and consent, re-member?) Note please that not a single word criticizes Clinton who had 8 years to fulfill this task or Gore who had those same years plus his prior 12 or more years in the Senate. Nope. Dingbat's sole complaint is about the Republican. Don't you find that odd? If not, why not? |
| SAUDI'S GET IT RIGHT FOR A CHANGE - 07-26-02 Los Angeles: Datelined Riyadh, 26 July - A convicted heroin dealer was beheaded in Riyadh yesterday. That's the way to solve the war on drugs. Newt had it right too. Execution was his choice of remedy for those who poison and kill America's kids with drugs. |
| GREAT HEAD - 07-24-02 Los Angeles: Head for a paragraph in today's Opinion Journal (link on our nav bar). The story: hundreds of sheep leapt to their death in an apparent attempt to escape from a pack of wolves. The head: Sheep Ape Lemmings. |
| Under God - 07-18-02 Los Angeles: By now most of you have formed an opinion about the 9th Circuit Court's opinion of the "under God" language in the Pledge of Allegiance. Here's my take. Plaintiff Newdow has a good point. "under God" is offensive to some taxpaying citizens. The opposite is also true: most taxpaying citizens do not find "under God" offensive. The argument can never be resolved on its present terms. No atheist is going to tolerate God; no theist is going to accept godlessness. Solution: don't take God out of the government schools; take the government out of the government schools. Then there may be "choice", that word beloved by so many of the left. The student may attend a God school or a godless school. Vouchers for all; choice for all; happiness for all. |
| John Lindh - Traitor - 07-18-02 Los Angeles: Having copped his plea just prior to the court denying his motion to suppress evi-dence against him, virtually assuring conviction with life im-prison, John Lindh quit and told the judge he was guilty; give me twenty over life please. Now will his apologists on the weepy left shut up? The spoiled Marin brat is a traitor to his country. Maybe Jane Fonda will be his prison pen palJohn Lindh - Traitor - 07-18-02 Los Angeles: Having copped his plea just prior to the court denying his motion to suppress evi-dence against him, virtually assuring conviction with life im-prison, John Lindh quit and told the judge he was guilty; give me twenty over life please. | The Golden Rule - 07-18-02 Los Angeles: Vouchers, having scored a big win in the Supreme Court, are now looked at as the panacea for our education system's reform. I hope so. But remember the Golden Rule? It's this: He who has the gold, rules. And the state governments hold voucher's educational gold. Look for the teacher's unions and liberal politicians to wrap their golden tentacles around private schools accepting vouchers, strangling them in a sea of regulation and multi-cultural curricula. |
| Congressional Crooks - 07-18-02 Los Angeles: It is now American lore that CEOs are crooks who cook the books, manufacturing revenues and profits that aren't really there at all. Maybe; but that art has been perfected in Washington where your Social Security Trust Fund contains not one dime of real cash money on deposit anywhere. It contains IOUs from the federal government saying that the federal government's general bank account will pay the federal government's Social Security bank account. Got that? Now what that really says and means is that when older or retired citizens receive Social Security checks, younger, working citizens pay. THERE AIN'T NO TRUST FUND; AL GORE'S "LOCK-BOX" IS NOW AND ALWAYS WAS, EMPTY. Move over Enron, Worldcom et al. Let the real pros show you how to do it and have the suckers pay you. |
DUE
TO A COMPUTER CRASH, THERE IS A LARGE TIME GAP BETWEEN WINNER & SINNERS. |
| TAG! YOU'RE IT! 03-27-01 Los Angeles Remember playing tag in the school yard or around your neighborhood? Wll, forget it if you live in some place called West Annapolis MD. There, tag touching could be 'offensive' and thus is banned in schools. Next we won't be permitted to shake hands with persons of a different gender much less help a senior citizen of another gender across the street. Don't you just go nuts when the gender police do this kind of thing? If so, vote against them next time you have the opportunity. Give them an inch and you know the rest. |
| THE MENDICANTS 03-15-01 Los Angeles It is being reported today that the Clinton Legal Express Trust (Yes! Trust!) has received a total of $8.7 million since its beginning about three years ago but, alas, suckers are now harder to come by with only (sic) $750,000 having trickled in from September through February. Not content with an $8 million up front cash book deal, $100,000 or more per speech, a Senator's salary and perks, an ex-governor's Arkansas pension, an ex-president's pension, $200 million for the "Library" which will cost under $50 million, these beggars are still sticking it to some to pay for the legal expenses of their disgraceful conduct while he was in office and while they were trying to get away with every dime, stick of furniture or other consideration possible. Why not pay their bills with their money you ask? To Palm Beach with you too. |
| "WHITE NIGGERS" Los Angeles 03-13-01 If anyone needs further proof or any proof at all that the mainstream media is 1. an adjunct of the Democrat party; 2. liberal;3. determined not to derail any agenda of 1. and 2., then answer this question: Where are the followup stories expressing anger, outrage and sadness at Democrat U.S. Senator Robert Byrd's televised remark containing the phrase "white niggers"? It is now a non-story. No followup; no N.Y. Times Magazine article; nothing from Joe Conason, Robert Scheer, Michael Kinsley, Richard Reeves, the L.A. Times, the Washington Post; no demands for Byrd to resign from the NAACP, Julian Bond, the Democrat party hacks or the allegedly Reverend Jesse Jackson, nothing from that California loudmouth Rep. Maxine Waters; nothing from New York's Sen. Clinton and, pardon me, nothing from our first black ex-president Clinton. Why not? If you don't know the answer to that question, move to Palm Beach Florida with the other morons. |
WHERE
THE PEOPLE ARE: 03-11-01 Los Angeles The census in summary says a lot
about America. Herewith the big picture. The Census Bureau divided the nation
into 5 parts; here they are with their respective percentage of the total
resident population and their rates of growth since the last census.

| THE WAY IT WAS 02-21-01 Los Angeles For those disgusted by the avarice and sleaze of the Clintons, their coterie and assorted scummy sycophants, a breath of fresh air from a different Democrat president of a different era. Harry Truman was never a rich man; he wasn't even close to well off. When he left the presidency, he was functionally broke. Here, though, is what David McCullough says in his splendid new book, Truman, on the erstwhile president leaving office: Truman had neither wealth to sustain him nor any particular prospects at the moment, no plans for future employment. His only intention, as he said, was to do nothing - accept no position, lend his name to no organization or transaction - that would exploit or "commercialize" the prestige and dignity of the office of the President. One hopes Liddy and Bob are listening; to their credit, Tipper and Al are. |
| "JESSE JACKSON'S GREAT BETRAYAL" 02-19-01 Los Angeles Andrew Sullivan, the British columnist with whom we have had differences (see: A Colloquy with Andrew Sullivan) lays into the allegedly Reverend Jesse Jackson, calling him "teflon black". Sullivan castigates JJ for betraying the civil rights movement and says that, were he white, JJ would be out of business. Sullivan describes JJ's busiiness as raking in vast fortunes from corporate America for his laughable Citizenship Education Fund. (Our readers know that CEF received $12 million, tax free, from which it paid out $47 thousand to educational recipients.) Imagine the outrage had Rev. Jerry Falwell paid his mistress and child out of tax exempt funds - or any funds at all. Or even his wife. |
| MORE ON THE ADORING EX-WIFE, DENISE RICH (RHYMES WITH BITCH) 02-19-01 Los Angeles News Item: It was reliably reported in today's papers that Denise Rich visited the White House over 100 times in 2000. Yes; twice a week to scratch the itch of friendship. Maybe the quid pro quo wasn't the money after all. Nah! She's a friend and supporter of the wife too. Couldn't happen. |
| MEMO TO CLINTON SUPPORTERS AND APOLOGISTS: 02-18-01 Los Angeles Impeached former President W. Clinton wrote a self-serving op-ed piece in the New York Times today trying to convince readers that he pardoned the fugitive-traitor Marc Rich on the merits of the matter and that there was no connection between his last second pardon and the hundreds of thousands of dollars given Clinton by Rich's adoring ex-wife. Maybe. But next time Clinton tries to tie money contributed to a conservative cause or a Republican candidate to some quid pro quo, remind him and yourself of this argument. And apply it to others as you would have others apply it for you. |
| TOM DASCHLE AND THE LEXUS 02-12-01 Los Angeles Tom Daschle, Democratic party leader of the Senate, has been telling all who would listen that the Bush tax cut is unfair. Why? The rich man could buy a new Lexus with his share while the average Joe could only buy a muffler for his used car. How clever. Daschle, of course, doesn't drive; he's chauffered around Washington as befits his noble position. Guess who pays for that? But let's take a look at the federal surplus expected over the next 10 years; a staggering $5.6 trillion. That would buy 160 million Lexus autos or one for every adult American. But don't expect Daschle to want to return your money or any other taxpayer's money. Why not? Because he loves to spend your money, endearing himself to the recipients, and keeping himself in limos. |
| WATCH OUT MARC RICH. IT AIN'T OVER TILL IT'S OVER. 02-10-1 Los Angeles Clinton's sleazy pardon of the rich Mr. Rich only applies to federal prosecutions. Any state or county D.A. having jurisdiction and a case could charge, try, convict and imprison Rich without regard to the presidential pardon. |
| HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. PRESIDENT - CALIFORNIA STYLE: 02-09-01 Los Angeles Five California congresspersons had the uncivil gall to decline wishing Happy Birthday to Ronald Reagan, a 90 year old, with Alzheimer's and a broken hip. Those five principled Californians, democrats all, are: Barbara Lee, Loretta Sanchez, Maxine Waters, Lynn Woolsey and one male, someone named Fortney Stark. When did democrats allow Fortneys into the party? There were two other democrats with the same level of class: Peter De Fazio (OR) and Eddie Bernice Waters (TX). Officials like these seven don't walk the halls of Congress; they slither. |
| CLINTON PLAYS GOLF AT ALL WHITE CLUB 02-09-01 Los Angeles Once again ex-president Clinton has played golf at the all-white Indian Creek Country Club in South Florida. When Jeb Bush learned of the club's all-white membership, he cancelled his scheduled round. Clinton's friends never learn or learn too late. Right, Al? |
| MEMO TO CORPORATE AMERICA AND QUIZ FOR OUR READERS 02-09-01 Los Angeles MEMORANDUM TO CORPORATE AMERICA TO: Board of Directors of: AT&T ($142,000) Bell Atlantic ($375,000) Viacom ($377,000) SBC/Ameritech ($500,000) GTE ($625,000) dollar amounts were their contributions Sub: How Your Shareholder's Money Was Spent by the Tax Exempt Educational Entity to which the above Amounts Were Donated for 1998 and 1999 Cash received = $ 11,996,914 Spent on Education = 46,632 ============ Spent on itself = $ 11,949,501 Where did the tax exempt entity spend the donations on itself you ask? | MAINSTREAM MEDIA MADNESS 02-09-01 Los Angeles The mainstream media is in full hue and cry against the Clintons. Media moguls who found no fault with a little fellatio at the office; a million or so in Chinese cash for military secrets; $400,000 for the tight-lipped felon Webster Hubbell or some bombs on no-account countries while investigations were at their peak. Nope. No high dudgeon there. But, by God, pardon Marc Rich, steal some furniture, have a bridal shower and pick up souvenirs from Air Force One and what a difference a day makes. Words like "contemptible", "disgraceful" and worse ring out across media-land. Why now? Where have they been since 1992? In what place without sunshine have their heads been? Think on that next time you accidentally tune in Rather, pretty Peter or Big Tom. |
| RALPH NEAS APPROVES OF RACIST CANDIDATE FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL! 02-03-01 Ralph Neas, president of the left-wing group, People for the American Way, has some explaining to do. Along with his buddy, Killer Kennedy, he was a leading character assassinator of John Ashburn. But when another controversial candidate for Attorney General was up for approval, Neas argued that the senators should defer to the president's choices. But, of course, that president was Clinton and the candidate was Lani Guinier. Remember her? She's the black professor from the University of Pennsylvania who believes blacks should have special rights. Let's see. Special rights favoring blacks over whites. Isn't that racist? |
| KATHERINE HARRIS MEET SENATOR CLINTON: [02-02-01] Los Angeles: Lately the Washington wags have been decrying Sen. Clinton's post-election sartorial splendor or lack therof. The fashion cats are in full array about Clinton's lack of style or lack of concern thereof. All are wondering why. So far no answer from the Sen. Goodwife but therein lies the answer or so W&S suspects. Hill has been told by Bill that she's over the hill; he's out of there except for some state appearances. Try snapping a thong Senator. |
